Facebook is acting weird for me, or I would have left this there.Check out this link from when a Phillies fan visited Alexander Cartwright's grave: http://www.thegoodphight.com/2009/3/17/800582/thank-you-mr-cartwright-anTwo things stood out that made me think of you. First, that the first baseball game was played at Elysian Fields, and second, that Alexander Cartwright's middle name was Joy. I know baseball likes the myth of Abner Doubleday, but the reality is so poetic too. A man named Joy holds the first game on fields of paradise. Awesome.Happy St. Patrick's Day!
